Congress at Lake Constance – Three countries, one topic: Building with wood
On June 21 and 22, the first D-A-CH interdisciplinary trade congress on the topic of building with wood will take place in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. The congress is organized by proHolzBW on behalf of the Holzbau-Offensive Baden-Württemberg.
The two-day event will highlight diverse facets of modern timber construction. Where does modern timber construction stand? Will it help us out of the climate crisis? Do we even have enough wood?
On the first day, the BarCamp "Wood Visions" from 12:00-18:30 offers the opportunity for an intensive exchange. digitize wood especially recommends the expert lecture "Robotics in timber construction" by Achim Menges. A joint dinner will round off the day at the lake.
At the specialist congress on the second day, you can expect exciting presentations on the topics of framework conditions in timber construction, architecture and urban development, circular economy, research and forestry, as well as markets and green finance.
