18.12.2024 – L’ignite – Timber Construction Regulars' Table Stuttgart

L’ignite – Timber Construction Regulars' Table Stuttgart

A joint exchange in an informal atmosphere on topics from the world of timber construction – the next L'ignite Holzbau-Stammtisch Stuttgart will take place on 18.12.2024!

This time we are guests of asp Architekten. Matthias Wachter and Raphael Dietz report on the conversion of the former Breitling department store on Stuttgart's market square, which is currently being transformed into the House of Tourism through extensive extensions in timber construction.

His presentation will be supplemented by Florian Mairhofer from the construction company Gottlob Rommel, which is carrying out the conversion.

Simon Mönch, who recently took up a visiting professorship in timber construction at the University of Stuttgart, will report on the research project on the deconstructability of connections in trussed girders.

Afterwards, as always, there will be plenty of time to chat and network over drinks and finger food.

Date: 18.12.2024, 6 – 9 pm
Venue: asp Architekten, Talstraße 41, 70188 Stuttgart
Program: Impulse lecture by asp Architekten, Gottlob Rommel, Uni Stuttgart, followed by exchange and networking
