The main aim of this project is to address architectural limitations in wood building systems (ie. flexibility of space) through the development of a novel digital wood building system, which enables the adoption of prefabricated timber construction in additional building typologies. The project integrates computational design, engineering, as well as building physics in tight relation with the respective fabrication strategies to reflect on novel design possibilities for multi-storey timber buildings.
